How to buy and place Zoo World animals – To purchase animals for your zoo, you will need to click the Shop icon at the bottom of your game or click the Shop tab at the top of your zoo. The page will then reload and you will see the shop items. In the Category menu, you will need to click Animals. That will display the animals you can purchase. The animals you can purchase will depend on the level you are on. To buy an animal, click the Buy button below the animal you want to buy. If you want to buy more than one, drop the box down and select your quantity and then click the Buy button. When you click the Buy button, you will see a box open and ask you to confirm your purchase. If this information is correct, click the Confirm button in the box. If it is not correct, click the Cancel button and you can make your selection again.
Once you have confirmed your purchase, the store will reload. If you want to buy another animal, you can do so. If you are ready to return to your zoo and place your new animal in your zoo, click the Visit Zoo tab at the top of the page. When your zoo loads, you will see a screen telling you that you have items in your inventory. You will be asked if you want to place these items in your zoo. Click the checkmark button to open your inventory box so you can place your animals.
In the inventory box, you will see the animals you have purchased. Click on an animal and drag it to the spot you want it. If you have more animals, you can drag them to where you want. When you are finished placing your animals in your zoo, click the green check mark on the right side of the panel to close the inventory box. You will then be returned to your zoo.
How to buy Zoo World staff – Buying staff for your zoo will help improve your report card and keep your zoo in order. It is important that you buy a manager, so that is the first thing you should buy. To buy staff, you will need to click the Shop button at the bottom of your game. When the page reloads, click the Staff link under Category. The page will then load the staff that you can purchase. Click the Buy button below the staff you want to buy. A box will open and you will need to confirm your purchase by clicking the Confirm button. The page will reload and you can purchase more staff.
Right above the Staff, you will see items that you need to purchase. It is probably a good idea to go ahead and purchase what is being suggested to you. Those suggestions will better your zoo and help improve your report card. Once you are finished buying the staff, you can return to your zoo.
How to buy Zoo World items – Purchasing other items such as restrooms, trashcans, and parking lots will help improve your report card score. To purchase these items, you will need to visit the shop. Under the Category menu, you will need to click Support. The page will reload and you will see the items you can purchase. To purchase items, click the Buy button below the item. Then confirm it when the box opens. When you have purchased the items you want and ready to place them in your zoo, click the Visit Zoo tab at the top of your game. When your zoo loads, you will see a message telling you that there are items in your inventory box. Click the checkmark to open the box and click the Zoo icon in the inventory box. Now you can place the items you purchased in your zoo. To place the items, click the item and drag it to where you want it. Continue doing this until you have placed all of your items in your zoo. Click the check mark to close the box when you are finished.
Accessing your inventory box – If you purchased items, animals, or have gifts and decided you wanted to wait to later to add them, you may have a bit of trouble trying to find them. That’s because you have to click the Edit button to view them. When you click the Edit button, you will see your items. You will then need to drag your items to your zoo. Click the check mark when you are finished to close your editing box.
How to move Zoo World animals and items – You can edit the layout of your zoo by moving your animals and other items. You will need to click the Edit icon located in the bottom part of your zoo. Once you click the Edit icon, the page will reload and your editing panel will open. You can drag animals and other items to your editing panel if you need to get them out of the way for a minute. You can also drag animals and other items around your zoo and place them where you want. If you have placed items in your editing panel, you can get them out and place them back in your zoo by dragging them to where you want to place them. Basically, if you want to move animals and items around your zoo, you will just need to drag them to where you want them. After you have your zoo the way you want it, click the check mark on the editing panel and you will be returned to your zoo and will see your new layout.
How to view animal information – Each animal in your zoo will provide information on the animal. If you would like to see information on a particular animal, simply click the animal. When you click the animal, you will see a box open and in the box is the information for the animal. To close the box, click the check mark.
What does the number beside each animal represent? – In Zoo World, you will see a number beside each animal. This number represents the quantity of animals. For example, if you have penguins, you can have more than one penguin in the igloo. The number of penguins will be listed in the corner of the exhibit.
What is a unique species? – These are a particular type of animal (i.e. tiger, bear, etc.) in which you can obtain from the Zoo World shop or via trading with your friends.
Helping lost animals – Sometimes you will encounter lost animals. When this happens, you will see a pop up asking you to help a lost animal. Helping these animals will earn you extra money in the Zoo World game. When these pop ups occur, you will see what animal it is and how much you will earn if you help the animal. To help the animal, click the Help button on the pop up. A new box will pop up and this box will allow you to publish the lost animal to your Facebook Wall. You will need to click Publish in this box to post it to your Wall. If you do not publish it, your friends cannot see it and therefore they can’t adopt it. You need your friends to be able to adopt it in order for you to earn your money. You can also attach a note in the Publish box before publishing it. If you want to attach a note, simply type what you want in the top box and then click the Publish button. It will then be posted to your Facebook Wall and your friends can begin adopting the lost animal.
Changing the price of admission – You can change the price of admission to what you want. Keep in mind that setting a high price for admission may hurt you more than help you. To change the price of admission, click the Home tab at the top of your Zoo World game. Then look for the Ticket Price box at the top of the page. Drop the box down and select your price and click the Save button. Your price will then be changed and your page will reload. You can then return to your zoo if you want.
What are unlimited animals? – These are animals that you can gift or trade with your friends without losing them from your zoo. Unlimited animals include the following: Rhinoceros, Emperor Penguin, Otter, Bison, Giraffe, Zebra, Caribbean Flamingo, Siberian Tiger, African Elephant, Lion, Monkey, Jaguar, Tree Frog, Pot-bellied Pig, Bonobo, Hippopotamus, Tortoise, Giant Panda, Polar Bear, Caribou, Camel, Rattlesnake, Koala, Gazelle, and Kangaroo.
What are daily hidden treasures? – There is a thing in Zoo World called, “Daily Hidden Treasure”. Finding the daily hidden treasure will earn you zoo dollars. To find the treasure, you will have to click on your animals and other items. When you click the right item, you will see a pop up message letting you know you have found the treasure. Then you will see how much zoo dollars you have earned. Click the check mark to close the box.
Your Zoo World report card – Your report card plays an important part in Zoo World. If you have a high score, more people will visit your zoo. Therefore, you will make more Zoo World money. To view your report card, click the letter beside your zoo money. The letter represents your score. When you click the letter, you will see a box open. In this box, you will see your score for each section of your zoo. Then you will see your overall score. To close the report card, click the check mark on the box.
Finding your Zoo World level – To find out what level you are on, you will need to visit the Home tab. Under the Ticket Price option, you will see Level Achievement. That will tell you what level you are on.
Bookmark Zoo World – You can easily access your Zoo World game by bookmarking it. When you open your game, you will see a splash screen asking if you want to bookmark the game. Click the Bookmark button and your game will be placed in the bookmarks. You will also notice your Zoo World game is also bookmarked at the bottom of your Facebook page. You can click the icon to easily load your game. You can also click Applications and click Zoo World to access it.
The Start Zoo Day button – If you have been inactive for some time, your zoo will time out. Therefore, you will not have visitors and will not earn zoo dollars. To start earning money again, you will need to click the “Start Zoo Day” button. Then your visitors will return and you will begin earning zoo dollars again.
Thumbs above Zoo World visitors’ heads – When your visitors are leaving your zoo, you will notice a thumb above their head. A thumbs up means they liked your zoo and that goes towards your report card score. If it is a thumbs down, that means you need to make improvements to your zoo and this will also go towards your score.
Zooming in/out of Zoo World – When your Zoo World loads, you will only see a few of your animals. That’s because your game is zoomed in a bit. After your game loads, you can zoom in and out of your game. In the bottom, right corner of your game, you will see the Zoom bar. You can click the minus icon to zoom out of your zoo or the plus icon to zoom in. If you are trying to zoom out to see all of your zoo, you will have to click the minus icon a few times.
Navigating Zoo World – To navigate your zoo, you can do two things. The first way to navigate is by grabbing your zoo with your mouse and moving it. You can drag the zoo around with your mouse. The second way is to use the navigation tool in the bottom, right corner of your game. You will see the four arrows and these are the arrows you will need to use to navigate it. It is a lot quicker to use your mouse though.
Turning music on/off in Zoo World – The music and sounds can sometimes become annoying. Then there are times you may want to hear them. In the top left corner of your game, you will see a sound icon and a music icon. Clicking an icon one time will turn it off, clicking it again will turn it on.
What are Wildlife Points? – Wildlife points allow you to buy unique animals and items. You will find that some of the animals and items cannot be purchased with cash, so you would need Wildlife points to purchase them.
How to invite Zoo World friends – The more friends you have in Zoo World, the more zoo money you can make daily. To invite your friends, you will need to load your zoo. At the bottom of your zoo, you will see an Invite Friends button right before your first friend. Click that button and the page will reload. Click the friends that you wish to invite. Then click the Send Invitation button. Another box will open and you will need to click Send in that box to complete the task. The invitation will then be sent to the friends you chose.
